Aaron Smith is a postdoctoral researcher in the Cofrin Logan Center for Addiction Research and Treatment. Dr. Smith uses a combination of behavioral, pharmacological, and neurological tools to study the antecedents and consequents of maladaptive behavior such as substance use and suboptimal gambling. He completed his dissertation at the University of Kentucky using computational models studying determinants of choices to use opioids.
